LAWLESSNESS: We are Living in it Now

We are witnessing it first hand. Division-driven anarchy, confusing injustices, political narratives, flash mobbing and twisted philosophical agendas. Jesus used the perfect broad term of “lawlessness.” It is corruption propped up by polarizing disinformation, syndicates fronted by lobbies, law-changers and justice-evaders that drive laws that favor cheating, kleptocracy in governmental agencies, clandestine businesses and byzantine organizations. What was formerly understood as organized crime has pushed its way in and expanded crevices into territories and cities and is now transmogrifying and amalgamating into a budding-superpower.

FAITHFULNESS: Budding-Superpower Transmogrifies

Despite challenging times, God’s people can trust that He fights the battles against the enemy and is always victorious.

COURAGE: It’s a Requirement in a Lawless Culture

Jesus foretells, "And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold" (Matthew 24:12). In this manner Jesus introduces the epoch in time of lawlessness and how this phenomenon will shatter natural love and accelerate injustice. Believers are called to love in the midst of it, to grasp this phenomenon that is occurring in front of our eyes and have the heart to help the Body of Christ worldwide, to understand it, see it in real time, and react to it in a Spirit-empowered way.

LOVE: Cultivate it in Nuclear and Church Families.

We have seen lawlessness in culture seep and creep into our Body. We have defended against interlopers in the church. While confronted with polarizing election views, shockwaves from a global pandemic, experts with polar opposite opinions and little objectivity, and expressions like defund the police, the church is torn. We have work to do and have addressed division, lawlessness, race, politics, and their relationship to following Christ on many levels. Yet, we have never connected the dots to the simple, prophetic and keen reality that this season was foretold by Jesus himself; and that the power of lawlessness, the workers of lawlessness, the lawless occupations, the causes of lawlessness and the lawless one are couplings in the chain that links the operating parts of the counterfeit kingdom. The Bible reveals it in detail and this Book has over 200 annotated verses on relevant lawlessness and injustice themes.
